Consider if your hair is a light brown, or a dark auburn.
Know your hair color!
Now start thinking about the highlight color.
If you want a dramatic look, try opposites.
For example, if you have dark brown hair, try platinum blonde highlights.
But if you want something natural, go for a few shades lighter than your natural hair color.
Or try a variety of highlights: a brunette with blonde, and a lighter shade of brown highlights all through your hair will have a very nice effect.

I'm proud, humbled and honored to be apart of this wonderful collection of superstar artists from around the world. I met the author Michael Fleishman back in 2000 at a Graphic Artists Guild convention and what bundle of energy and knowledge he was even then. This is my 2nd Fleishman book that I have been in.
Look what's on my drawing board?
Page 145: On this page I discuss working out value at the pencil stage before color, among other things.
Chapter 13 - Drawing Is Provocative, page 212 is all mine! One of the things I discuss here is what I teach in some of my classes. Andrew Loomis discusses the importance of the five P's and the five C's. Look it up if you want to know or ask me or better yet buy this 368 page 500+ illustrations book and read all about it.

Alternate them by using a green streak, letting the blonde show, then adding a blue streak, and so on.
Let each color dry well before adding the next color.
The powdered drink mix comes in many different colors for total weirdness.
Start with purple, then blue, then red, then orange, then yellow, and finally, green.
Use the powdered drink mix to highlight just the tiny braids.
Highlight one section with one color and pin the section over to the side while highlighting the next section.
Continue until each section is a different color.

Has there been another television star in recent years more associated with her hair than keri russell?
And while we miss her long curls, these soft waves are pretty perfect, too.
I never paid much attention to her hair.
Anne hathaway has always seemed like a bookish sort.
Though maybe not quite this bookish.
Has she forsaken her glam hair for good?
Trends are not reserved for the youth alone.
Com charisma carpenter will forever be cordelia chase in my mind.
Just as i envy this old hollywood throwback style she wore on the red carpet this week.
Eva mendes looks quite the pretty princess at the premiere of the other guys.
Her high ponytail is super chic and the added touch of the jeweled fastener makes it all the more special.
Continuing on the hair color switch front, we hardly recognized adrianne palicki, who played blonde bombshell tyra on friday night lights , with her chocolate brown waves.

I have never dyed my hair before, but i really want that look.
And, i cannot find any pictures up on the internet of those types of hairstyles.
Thank you so much!
However, most of the blondes i know have yellow or reddish base tones to their blonde hair.
This becomes a problem when adding a black undercolor, because most black haircolor formulas use blue or violet base colors.
Most women who go for the look not only add black as an undercolor, but also lighten their blonde hair to a platinum blonde or other highlevel bluebased blonde shade.
Perhaps a mocha or caramel color for the honeyed and reddish shades of blonde hair, or an ash brown for those blue and violetbased blonde shades.
However, the final decision is yours.
I simply want to encourage you to make a carefully considered and informed decision.

One way or another, herbs touch each of our lives.
Good garden soil is not easy to find, and most beginning gardeners soon realize they must improve on one or more conditions of the soil.
Good soil must be guarded by proper management.
Improving your garden soil is easily accomplished and is a regular part of gardening.
Sooner or later, most of us decide to try our hand at growing a few favorite herbs.
Once started, most gardeners find themselves increasing the number of herbs they cultivate simply because so many of them flourish with little care.
Like any other garden, you have many different options for layout and design when planting your herb garden.
Do you prefer a container garden close to the kitchen for the aromatic herbs that you love to use in your gourmet recipes?
Do you like rows and rows of lacy anise to sway in the breeze on a windy day?
Does a wistful sigh escape your lips every time you pass an intricate knot garden?
Would you rather plant a mixed garden full of herbs, vegetables, and even edible flowers?
Your herb garden will be a source of fragrant, delicious seasonings for your favorite meals.
